Sirius held her in his arms as she sobbed, probably smearing mascara, eyeliner and blood all over his shirt for what felt like hours before her breathing steadied and Sirius continued to stroke her hair in comfort until she could stand on her own, and she looked up at her big brothers best friend with tears in her eyes, whispering out a "You can't tell Remus."
"What?" Sirius gawked, how could he not tell Remus that he witnessed his dad hit his sweet little sister.
"Remus will lose his mind... and it's three days away from the full moon, you can't! Promise me, please Sirius." Ronnie pleaded as Sirius slowly nodded, understanding how dangerous it was for Remus to know.
"Fine, Ronnie, I won't I promise but you have to make a promise to me. You have to tell me if it happens again." Sirius countered as she nodded, "Yes, yes I will as long as we keep this between us."
"Fine, at least let me clean your pretty little face up, come here." Sirius said, pulling Ronnie towards her ensuite washroom.
She pulled herself up on the counter as he began to sort through the first aid kid.
"Okay, I don't really know what I'm doing so I'm just going to wipe up the blood and put on a cute little bandaid, cool?" Sirius hummed out, as she nodded with a small laugh, "Cool."
The two sat in silence as Sirius wiped up the dried blood on her face and put a small band-aid on the cut, "Mia can fix it once we get to the Potters but that'll do for now."
"Thank you Sirius." Ronnie quietly said, hopping back onto the ground as he nodded, "Ofcourse Ronnie. I will be here from now on to protect you, I promise. I'll be your overprotective brother who will probably get on every last nerve of yours, but I swear to it, you will have me to protect you and ensure no one puts their hands on you ever again, okay?"

The two made their way back into her room to see Remus coming in with a letter in his hand, "James and his parents are at the leaky cauldron and were supposed to meet them there, Ronnie, you ready?" Remus asked, not noticing the off mood the other two are in or what happened merely minutes ago.
"Yup, I'm all packed up." Ronnie nodded, trying to pass it off as if she were in a good mood. Sirius was quick to spring into action and grab her trunk for her as the three walked to the floo network.
"Are you going to say goodbye to dad?" Remus asked as she shook her head, making eye contact with Sirius.
"Already did. Let's go please." Ronnie said, grabbing the powder as she spoke "The Leaky Cauldron", causing the three to appear in the old run-down bar.
They stepped out to see Monty sitting at a table. "Oh, kids! Glad you're here, pass me that trunk there Sirius and we can go grab James and Mia upstairs." Monty grinned, walking over to the three kids before lightly grabbing Ronnies face.
"What happened there, dear?" He asked, looking at her cheek with the bandaid on it, causing Remus to now notice, "When did that happen?"
"Oh I tripped at home, I'm okay though." Ronne tried to smile as the boys must have bought it as the subject was dropped.
"Great, Remus come with me to grab James and you two start to order drinks." Monty now instructed as Ronnie and Sirius walked towards the bar, not noticing the greasy black hair that already sat there.
"Hiya Tom, two lemonades please." Sirius called out as Severus Snape turned to scowl at the Gryffindors.
"Look what the cat dragged in." Snape drawled out as Sirius rolled his eyes, automatically inserting himself between a girl whom he looked at as his little sister and his arch-nemesis.
"Snivellus, I didn't know they let just whoever in this pub these days." Sirius cheekily said as the Slytherin rolled his eyes, going to look at the girl, "What happened to your face there Lupin? Band-Aids don't cover up ugly scars, just ask your brother."
"Watch it Snivellus or I will have no problem dragging you outside to give yourself some nasty scars." Sirius furiously said, turning to tower over a sitting Snape.
"Oh, touched a nerve there, did I? Is she your girlfriend, Black? Going a little young now aren't you?" Snape continued to tease before Tom, the bartender, walked over, "I don't want any trouble in my bar here boys, Snape, you've paid your tab time to leave."
"Gladly." Severus said, getting up and walking out of the pub as Sirius took his seat.
"What a git." Sirius huffed under his breath as the bar doors opened again.
"I thought we'd find you here!" A loud and joyous voice boomed out as Ronnie whipped around. She knew that voice anywhere and it was coming from one of her favourite twins.
She couldn't help the smile that formed on her face as she ran towards Fabian wh held his arms open for her after they weren't able to see her all summer. She jumped into his open arms as they held each other, letting him spin her around before Gideon cleared his throat from beside them.
"Stop hogging her, would you?" Gideon gritted out as Fabian laughed, placing the brunette on the ground so she could turn to hug the other twin, letting him hold her close as she was slightly lifted off the ground.
He went to let go of the girl after a few moments but she made no move to budge, "You alright there mini?"
"Don't let go, not yet." She whispered out, needing the hug. Gideon shared a look over her head to Fabian as he secured his arms around her shoulders once again, "Alright mini, I won't."
The two stayed like that for a while more before she slowly stepped back, not even being able to hold in the sniffle.
"Whatcha crying for love? Miss us that much?" Fabian teased as a loose tear escaped but she nodded with a smile on her face.
"More than you know. And after the day I had, I needed those hugs." Ronnie confirmed as the twins shared a worried look.
"What happened?"
"Nothing I want to talk about, I'm just glad to be back with you guys."
"Us too, now let us tell you about our summer. Molly is pregnant again." Fabian said as Gideon stifled his laughter, "It's like she's trying to break a record or something."
The three friends giggled with each other as Remus and James came down to join Sirius at the bar, the three-fifth years watching the three-fourth years.
"They remind me of us." Remus finally said.
"How so?" James questioned as Sirius finally spoke up, "Those three would do anything for each other, like us and Pete. She's safe with them."
